Gee, Vi, I love me some bitstrips, but what I don't like is the limited clothes and looks for characters. They should make a template for "Animal" so we could make dogs and cats and stuff, and maybe add more clothes.

Personally, I'm really fond of messing around with the facial expressions and postures. I do wish there was a TEENY bit more to work with in the texture department though.

Mmmmm!!!! Yay for fast food curry! (a bit hard to eat on the commute, though!)

OK, I get it now. I think I was blabbing before I poked around enough to see how people are using the limitatations as an advantage. I still have a lot to learn, apparently. (What? I didn't come into the world knowing everything?!)

While I agree with Hotspur, I do wish there were just a teeny bit more latitude with wardrobe, scenery, and props. Even in the modern world, not everybody wears short skirts and low shoes. Still, I am seeing a LOT of creativity in the use of the limited toolset here.

Point taken, in a general sense. However, what I like about the restrictive nature of the toolset is that it almost forces you to innovate. Some of the stuff people are coming up with in bitstrips is simply astonishing. One of my friends recently made the Eifel tower out of the side of one of the tables you get as a prop, just repeated over and over. There's creativity there, and yes, even art (wait until you see "Starry Night" by Van Gogh done with a banana prop). Speaking ONLY for myself, I love the way the story has to tell the story, you can't fall back on artwork (special effects).
