hello, hello,
friends! well, we sure
have covered a lot in
four episodes. and I've
got more wisdom to give!
whistle!
i'm assuming you've
met buddy? yeah. everyone
has. buddy is just one of
the 29 bitstrips basics! and
that's what we're gonna
think about today!
hey everybody!
see, a lot of
people use the
bitstrips basics,
the most used are:
buddy and bitty.
now, I've used
the basics a lot in my
time, but most of the time, I've
either made my own characters,
or used a friend's.
i'm hoping
you guys
will start doing
the same. sure, it's
okay to use them
a little...
but using the same
basic characters
again, and again
and again?! bor-ing!
bang!
go to art library, characters,
my characters. click new character
(alternatively go to "create" and click "character),
and see what you can come up with!
i've made 144 characters using it so far, making new ones all the time!
oh boy. guess
it's time to create a new
buddy.
every new
character is born
with
imagination energy.
notice how I
use both lightbeam
and spotlight effects to
play the part of
the imagination-ray.
hi there, I'm buddy, your
host at bitstrips!
ha-ha!
hey! you're
cute.
yeah...
they grow up
so fast, eh?
so that's my look
at the character creation
process! see you guys soon!
