if you look at the front page strips, most of them get between 15-20 laughs or kudos. this tells me that there are only about 20 serious people who read and vote on the best bitstrips.
take faris here. he's typical of the 62,000 semi-literates who fill the core matrix database with useless strips and waste our time with their fart jokes

with the uptick in views on your typical FP item, it seems like people, when they look at the strip, just don't bother to vote. Must be Americans.
