Dan, it's nice
that you call me
here in the hospital
but couldn't you
come down sometime
for a visit?
Until I finish
my masterpiece, I'm
a hermit! Besides
you're family visits
you all the time
Yeah, they visit
but they can't be
here all the time and
it's so boring with
nothing to do except
wonder whether I'll
live or die
I AM LOCKED AWAY
WITH MY MUSIC!!!
It's been thirty
years!!! can't you
make an exception
for a sick friend?
Okay... if you
remember that chord
you played thirty years ago; the one that's perfect to open my song with!
It seems like it's been
one test after another
since I got in here!!!

he's gonna be really pissed when he finds out it's the first chord from "Mary Had a Little Lamb"

Hmm, just by recollections of all those years ago, it'd be a happy, chord,... a jangly variation of a major probably in the keys of E, A, G or C. Some crazed combination of barre and open played higher on the neck with at least one string as a drone, most likely the high E. The final chord name would be about a paragraph long. I was quite into what Peter Buck was doing in the early '80's.

These Tony, most of the kids do the dropped d tuning or tune down 2 whole steps! I like playing in E or D minor...the saddest of all keys!

oy! Just tell him it was A. Most songs seem to be done in that key anyway!

You know what you get when you drop a piano down a mineshaft? Abm. That's the chord he's looking for...

Try G11 on a 12-string guitar with piano doubling the low notes!

Those camera shapes and angles are awesome! I also like how you made your friend's house with that shiny gradient!
