was he--?!
let's go over to the camp--
I'd like to see it, and the
sheriff may know who
those two guys are.
december
was he--?!
but why would
the strikers
leave now?
their children have
been threatened.
december
Those people were driven away from
their homes by the depression.
they have been blown all over
the west trying to find a new home.
they will persevere, wherever
the wind takes them...
december
they have scars
that will be with
them for life.
the only thing
they can do is live
for their children.
was he--?!
I'm going to have a drink,
if you'd care to join me.
I'm going to have a drink,
if you'd care to join me.
the end.
december

A surprise ending. The surprise being that it just sort of ended. But I was out of story, and I have a wedding to plan.
