My thing is no matter how old you are you should be told the truth about you, no matter how harsh you choose to be. Like if everyone said that I was I dunno.... "A Good Singer" jst because I'm a kid, You'd be leading me on for further disapointment in the near future, because there's always going to be the one person that WILL tell you the truth, no matter your age.

(Please Take Me Seriour With This Avatar.) This Happens A LOT, To Me Even... I WANT The Comments And People To Tell Me What I Did Wrong, Not Tell Me I did good and move on. It Makes me sickened when a adult makes a wonderfult strip and is hated on for it but a kid with the same strip would be front page. Ugh.

Age is a factor when you critique, but some make it more of a priority. But it matters; are you critiquing or just bickering because you just didn't like the strip.

Hell to the yeah. I hope certain soccermoms read this....to me, age is a non-issue here as far as bickering goes. Anyone could pretend to be ever how old they want and get away with it. It has happened plenty of times. It's a dog-eat-dog world out there, tit-for-tat, and if they can dish it out, they should be able to take it. If not, perhaps they learned something. Most likely not.

Yeah, that attitude makes no sense to me, either. I watched my friends kid go from making artwork well beyond her years to making utter crap, all because her teachers would praise her no matter what doodle she'd put on the page. Their praise was so easily given, she no longer felt the need to reach or try. It was sad.
