The morning arrived sooner than I anticipated. It was a lonely morning of which I awoke in my bed with a burning sensation along my left arm. I turned, rolling in the mountains of sheets and blankets and pillows, to inspect what it was irritating me. A stream of light poured into the room through a small whole left by the curtains weakly drawn. I ran up and shut them immediately looking back at my arm, it was scolded by the light and hot to the touch, steam and smoke almost rolled off into the air in spirals like a blazing fire. I shook it vigorously to see a long thin burn along my left forearm. what had i done last night to forget to close the drapes? oh no!
