Hello, BoomMike here... the real BoomMike, not
the toony avatar that many of you are used to
as this is my five thousandth strip, I had
planned to do something very special in order
to commemorate those many strips and to
thank all of you people out there who have
enjoyed these many strips I've made...
but, here in Canada, these are trying
times politically and something has
occured which will make this strip even
more special than I thought possible!
Could you maybe
run for Prime Minister
of Canada? We can't
seem to find a definitive
leader up here with
a hung government
and all...
a dramatic recreation of the
events on the previous Tuesday...

am announcing my intention of running for Prime Minister of Canada
in the current election as the leader of the Federal Boom Party!
And just so you know, I'm not like the other candidates,
I won't be running this campaign on a pile of worthless
promises... I will however be making a series of demands
at the time and place of my choosing!
